Beautiful words from one of our Karoo Geoglyphs artists, Janet Botes.
Janet depicts the natural landscape in different formats and techniques, including painting, sculpture, photography and Land Art.
On her last visit to the Snake Eagle Thinking Path she created a flowing version of the Ouroborus, an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. It symbolises the cyclical nature of the universe: creation out of destruction, Life out of Death.
